I know that I haven't the best example, with my own parents divorced. But I still love them, sometimes. When they punish you its hard to remember its for your own good instead of their way of torturing you. >_> Still love you guys though!
Some of my main points of the story will concern our main characters getting over their own obstacles. Demiri is the main heroine who has to let go of the weight of the scars of the past. Even when an odd creature introduces her to a god called Elohim and she accepts Him, it's still hard as heck. Trust me, she's modeled after yours truly!
Her best friend, Klydin, is one who has uncaring parents. He is a stubborn and flat character, a typical, "rush in without thinking" type of person. He also has a thirst for adventure and will NEVER have a girlfriend, let alone a wife. So yea, his rock-hard head creates its own problems... He's a pretty easy character to work with.
Nikki is a he-dragon who has a crush on Demiri. This spontaneous and impatient guy is really fun to be around. He is a mildly developed character. To be honest, I modeled him after my dream guy. XD C'mon, how is Demiri going to like him if I don't? Anyways, he is weird, gentle, but likes to get things done. He has a slight patience problem because he is blind and his younger brother has to guide him if he wants to go anywhere. I think Nikki is the one with the hardest personality...
When it comes down to it, all of these three have unstable home situations and scars from them. This book is supposed to show that you can rise from the rubble of your own heart's demise and storm the battlements of the evil ones. Nuff said. Think I can't write this book?
Who is Nikki's brother? Or is he irrelevant?
ReplyDeleteZip is anything BUT irrelevant. The little dracling is based of my sister's persona so that means a kind, brother adoring dracling with a naughty side. He loves his brother more than anything else!
DeleteSounds like a cool book! And if God wants you to write it, give it your best shot. * grins * Write for the glory of God!
